Social media communicates ‘why’ and not ‘what’ you sell – Mr Pace
Mr Chris Pace, the Managing Director at Blaze Limited delves into the principles behind social media marketing
He said that the social media creates niches communities which allow for instant dialogue and thus, creating new customers. “The social media platform is not a billboard as it communicates the ‘why’ you are selling and not ‘what’ you sell,” he warned.
He urged that the tone of voice should be educational and entertaining one, since it spreads quicker.
He said that in the US 54 per cent of employees are not to use the social media networks in the workplace. “But recent research has shown otherwise and if there is a sense of ownership and responsability there is nothing to worry about,” he explained. “At the end of the day, our people are the frontline of any companies’ marketing efforts,” he added.
“The social media is here to stay so embrace it,” he added.
